SUPER MAN

 While every one's all excited about Henry Cavill as the new Superman, I'm thinking it may not be the best career move, Hank.  You just have to look at one of my real life heroes, Christopher Reeve's career after the Superman movies.  It was hard for him to get serious movie roles and be taken seriously as an actor.  Oh, well, when Hollywood beckons it's hard to resist.  Of course it already may be too late.  He plays Theseus in the soon to be released, The Immortals.


 There will probably be no more great ass shots like these from The Tudors..


The first time I noticed this gorgeous man, was in The Count of Monte Cristo.  He is so fucking pretty in that movie and ruggedly handsome in The Tudors  Oh, and by the way, Henry, Happy Belated Birthday.  He turned 28 on May 5.

i watch so very little TV. don't even get the premium channels or digital cable. i'm an obsessive reader and my kindle is always w/in grabbing distance. but i love the tudor period. and there seem to be an ever increasing glut of quality programming on HBO and Showtime. maybe i should subscribe. would the tudors be worth renting MM?

The Tudors was great in the beginning when there was a lot of Henry as Charles Brandon fooling around, but I haven't seen the last season because Jonathan Rhys Myers as Henry VIII drives me nuts as an actor. He has a repetative speech pattern that makes me crazy. Ha! Watching The Borgias right now and loving it. You Catholics have such a colorful history. LOL.
