CONTRACORRIENTE (UNDERTOW)

I just finished watching this beautifully moving and poignant love story about a Peruvian fisherman, his male ghost lover and his wife.  Here is the link to the New York Times review of the film. Shot entirely on location in the small seaside village of Cabo Blanco in Northern Peru and written and directed by Javier Fuentes-León, it is a magical tale of love, loss and courage.  I have wanted to see this film for a long time and finally was able to sit down and watch it.  I cried a lot.
