At age 19, I spent a summer season on what was really an old "venerable" college campus in New England, apprenticing as stock theatre apprentice...An afternoon rain shower turning to gully-washer, sent us running for cover-soaked,a little embarassed-I turned from a dormitory doorway,where I'd taken refuge, to see a pair of very blue eyes staring at me-"Why don't you come up-dry off..." he said.....
